At Fairview Rush City Clinic we are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified primary care physician to join a five-practitioner practice. Be part of an outpatient only or traditional outpatient/inpatient practice with a possible emphasis in complex geriatrics. Clinic services include: preventive medicine, well-baby and pediatric exams, care for adults and children with complex, chronic medical conditions, pre-operative exams, OB care, patient education and same-day appointments. Practitioners also have the opportunity to perform procedures. Physicians average seeing 20-25 patients per day. The providers at the Fairview Rush City Clinic have the opportunity to experience the latest innovations in the delivery of traditional family medicine. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality medical care for the entire family through all stages of life. Onsite services include pharmacy, rehabilitation (speech and physical therapy), respiratory therapy, eye care, diabetic education, cardiac rehab, an anticoag clinic and diagnostic services including lab, mammography, ultrasound and X-ray. MRI, CT, mammography and bone densitometry is available at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and every provider uses the EMR. Practitioners work a 4-day workweek with an expectation of 34 patient contact hours per week. Clinic hours are Mon. 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Tues.-Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. We use a primary nursing model where practitioners work primarily with the same CMA/LPN. The physicians have the ability to focus on an outpatient-only practice by admitting their patients to the hospitalist service at Fairview Lakes Medical Center or have the ability to provide the full scope of traditional inpatient and outpatient care by rounding on their own patients or participating in a rounding service at the hospital. The providers work collaboratively with a large network of both primary care and specialty physicians throughout the Fairview Medical Group Practice, including partners at the University of Minnesota, which includes many subspecialists through extensive outreach programs. Physician leadership is valued, encouraged and supported at all levels of our organization.

Fairview Rush City Clinic is located 55 miles north of Minnepolis/St Paul and 27 miles from the hospital at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. Fairview Lakes Medical Center is located in the 3rd and 4th fastest growing counties in Minnesota.
